The NIH has stopped its research into the Havana Syndrome due to a problem with informed consent.  They say that some patients MAY HAVE been coerced into participating.  They did not look into the facts but just stopped the program.  Stupid is as stupid does.  It was the CIA telling patients that they needed to participate to get medical care.

The Biden administration are finalizing the new rules for mental health parity.  They are hoping these work better than the old ones from 2023 which didn't.  The new rules require over 200 n0on governmental health plans to to comply which they forgot do do last time.  The new rule prohibits less restrictive prior authorization or narrower networks, which no one can control.  Then the plans have to collect data to differentiate between mental health and substance abuse.  This nonsense starts 1/1/25 or 26 depending on the plan provision.

The CEO of Stewart Health Care Ralph de la Torre said he will not complay with a Senate subpoena to appear.  The reason was straightforward as he is onder a court order from discussing anything during a current mediation.  He would be open to testifying after the mediation is over.  That is not good enough for the grandstanding chair, Bernie Sanders.  He needs his time before the cameras.
