The SEIU says that Oregon hospitals are not complying with Oregon law and setting roadblocks to patients getting financial assistance.  Usually I take what unions allege with a large grain of salt but in this case???

The medical staff at North Country Hospital in Vermont has voted no confidence in their CEO because of his management causing problems with staff and patient care.  The Board has not responded.

The Oregon Nurses Assn. along with another labor union are seeking the removal of Coos Bay Bay Area Hospital board members.  They are now attempting to raise enough signatures to get a measure on a ballot.

The physicians at Bozeman Health voted no confidence in the board chair and he resigned.

Catholic Medical Center in New Hampshire, came under fire for allowing a cardiac surgeon to continue to practice there even though he had a huge amount of malpractice cases against him along with five surgical errors in five weeks.  They have now hired a law firm to review their cardiac program to find root causes.  This should be a medical staff issue along with the hospital to get the root causes.

To the hospital's shame the escorted several nurses off premise at Ascension Saint Joseph-Joliet (Ill).  The nurses notified hospital management of the gross understaffing of the ED where there were only 4 nurses and 10 should be on duty.  They recommended the hospital go on by-pass.  Bye.  Way to treat employees and make them feel wanted.

The physicians working for Santa Clara County, California plan to go on strike in November.  This is a contract dispute but not over wages.  The physicians want to lighten workloads and increase staffing but the mean County Executive is only thinking of money.  They and the county have since agreed on unnamed terms but it must be ratified by the rank and file and the county.

Ohio is now considering taking away the license of Drl Sherri Tenpenny.  She testified before an Ohio House Committee that Covid could cause magnitization of people.  She had bought in to the internet crap.          Top
