California Kaiser employees are going on strike for the organizations two tiered wage system.  Kaiser wants to give new workers a much lower pay than the currant workers.  Kaiser says it must do this to keep prices low for its members.  

Gallup, New Mexico Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services closed its OB unit due to not having any staff to work the area.  There are problems at the hospital between the medical staff and the out of state owners.  the medical staff has now agreed to join a union to try to get better working conditions at the facility.  This is the same hospital that got its CEO fired due to facility issues.

New Jersey University Hospital has notified about 9000 patients that their medical records have been compromised by the wrongful viewing of a hospital employee.        Top
