The idiots at the US Preventative Services Task Force have put out a new edict that insurance companies will glom on to.  They no longer recommend routine skin checks by primary care physicians for asymptomatic patients.  Therefore, mopre will be sent to dermatologists at a higher cost.

President Biden has signed an executive order that he says will boost compensation to care workers.  It may or may not do that but it will create many new jobs for the great administrative bureaucracy.  The actual amount of people this will effect is negligible.  It will be used for his reelection campaign.

The President again looking for the reelection is rolling out a new program to pay for Covid vaccines, tests and treatment for the uninsured.  The remainder of the country will get it paid for by insurance, maybe.  Will there be co-payments for the insured?  there will be none for the uninsured.

The feds have fined Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, and Kell West Regional Hospital in Texas, for ignoring the transparency law.  Their fines were just north of $100,000 each.  This is much better than the over $800,000 fine received by Northside Hospital of Atlanta and the over $200,000 fine to its co-hart in Canton, Georgia. There are over 700 more hospitals waiting to be fined.        Top
