Congress has passed and Biden has signed the "Covid-19 Relief Package". This pass on reconciliation with NO Republican votes. It is a total to $1.9 TRILLION with very little of this going to Covid relief. It has the potential to raise inflation and will be paid for by our children and grandchildren. The bill is the original Trump bill to help on steroids and pork. Top
California is investigating Providence Health, a catholic chain. The reason is that Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach female health physicians complained that the parent company applied the Catholic Directives to Hoag. This, if true, would be a direct violation of a condition imposed by the state for the affiliation. The physicians claim that Providence's physician arm refused to pay for contraceptive services for HMO services at Hoag and they delayed authorizations for miscarriages and other female health services. The underlying motive in all this is Hoag's attempt to break away from Providence and the law suit now before the court. Top
