An interesting turn of events.  The medical staff of Washington state Whidbey Health voted a no confidence for their CEO , COO and attorney.  Then the CEO fired four administrators who were hired in the last four years to try to right the hospital.  One of those fired was the CNO who the staff really liked.  This was all done without the Board awareness.  The Board then fired the CEO without cause but will remain until a new CEO is hired.  It is possible that the fired CNO will become the interim CEO.  The Board also found that they had been given erroneous financial updates regarding the hospital and they have significant financial problems.        Top

When will people learn not to tweet.  Another has been taken down.  This time it is Dr. Jeffery Lieberman, the now ex-chair of the Columbia University psychiatry department.  He tweeted a complementary tweet about a black model and some took it for racist.  He was removed from his position.        Top
