The administration finalized a law expanding access to medical care by vets outside the VA.  If a vet has to waid langer than 20 days or drive over 30 minutes for primary or mental health care they will be allowed to see an outside physician.  For specialty care the rule applies if the vet has to wait over 28 days or drive over an hour to see a VA provider.  This hopefully should increase the numbers of vets allowed to see outside physicians.

The administration is allowing employers help workers buy their own health insurance.  Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA) will be allowed to be used starting next year by employees.

California's Democratic supermajority Legislature has sent to the Governor a budget for the upcoming year.  It includes the ability for illegals to buy (or be given via supplements) health insurance up to age 26 along with fines for those who do not purchase Ocare insurance.          Top
