The administration has a Christmas present for hospitals. They intend in 2023 to possibly issue executive orders regarding cyber security in the hospitals. To date, hospitals have for the most part not been very compliant with HIPAA security standards leading to significant cyberattacks and some patient fatalities. This may force them to get up to date.
