The UK is the first country to approve a corona vaccine.  They approved the Pfizer vaccine and the next day started inoculating their healthcare workers. Over one week later and another 35,000 deaths the FDA committee recommended the FDA approve the vaccine.

The HHS has proposed some changes in the HIPAA rules.  They include allowing people to inspect their records in person including being able to capture their records, decrease the response time fro 30 days to 15 days, allow individuals to direct sare among plans and providers, require specifications as to when electronic PHI must be provided to the individual at no charge, require entities to post on their website the fee schedules for PHI access and copies of PHI and no longer require the idiotic written acknowledgment that they received the providers Notice of Privacy.      Top

Some hospitals continue to have overly strict policies that hurt their employyees.  One such hospital is Glen Falls Hospital.  They have a strict policy of flu vaccinations.  One employee has a terrible reaction to the vaccine and it lasts for months.  She wears a mask in her secretarial position checking in patients.  She was fired as she could not take tha vaccine and wasn't willing to take the egg free vaccine.          Top
