The physicians at the University of Colorado have filed a suit with the state for retaliation after they tried to gain collective bargaining rights. The school gave the usual sorrows and prayers nonsense.
More physicians are opting out of Medicare. Approximately 4/4% of primary care physicians have departed the low paying insurance plan. This is up about 1% from 9 years earlier. To contrast that only 0.1% more of surgical specialists have left Medicare in the same period. This is probably due to the lower payment for the primary care physicians vis a vis specialists.
Texas has suspended Dr. Yolanda Lagunas' medical license until May, 2027. The OB in El Paso is considered a threat to the public due to the death of a fetus of a patient who was admitted but not seen for 35 hours.
