The California Department of Managed Care has reached an agreement with Kaiser to fix its terrible mental health services. Kaiser will not do anything to fix the problems but will hire an outside consultant to address the problems and do oversight. This is the result of two years of negotiations by the inept state. If Kaiser does not meet benchmarks they MAY be fined up to $1 million. They have already paid over $4 million in fines to no avail. Kaiser was always proud of its progress and did more of nothing.
