In the immediate fallout from the poorly thought out prosecution of nurse RaDonda Vaught other nurses are leaving the profession says Kaiser News.  If nurses are feeling that they are not being trained well by their employers and they now have fear of criminal prosecution for medical errors they are leaving.  All agree the prosecution will have damaging effects on reporting errors and especially near-misses and may also lessen the amount of nurses available for patient care.  

Biden administration idea of test to treat is a failure as there are few stores that have the ability to do the program.  The procedure is also expensive as there is a significant charge for the seeing of the patient even if there is no charge for the nasal test nor the med.        Top

Loretto Hospital in Chicago is the hospital that gave Covid vaccines to preferred people.  They now have lost their CEO George Miller, Jr.  No one knows if he was fired or resigned but one can guess.

Patients are suing hospitals for HIPAA data breaches more than prior.  The reason is obvious.  They should have known their security was faulty.        Top
