The LA School District now requires vaccination for all eligible students. This is the largest school district in the country. Top
Beaumont Health finally found someone dumb enough to join with them. Fellow Michigan system Spectrum signed a formal integration agreement with Beaumont. Spectrum will be the lead in this.
Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, California, hired six new traveling nurses to work in their understaffed ICU along with two traveling respiratory therapists. They lost four of the nurses after one day due to the hospital's thowing them to the wolves without showing them the ropes and EHR first.
In Birmingham, Alabama, over two dozen ER night nurses at UAB refused to clock in. The reason was low pay. After several hours and the administration getting out of bed the nurses went back to work as the dialogue continues.
At Lewis County Health System in New York state the maternity ward sill have to be closed due to health care workers resigning rather than be vaccinated. They have 25% of the staff unvaccinated. Top
