The administration order in February a special enrollment for Ocare.  About 2.8 million poor souls signed up for the most expensive insurance in the country.  This also shows how many lost their employment insurance due to not working.  They then pushed the coming enrollment for an additional 30 days.  I have no idea why they would do any of that as those who had changed circumstances can enroll anytime.

The FDA Advisory Board recommended to give third Pfizer Covid shots to those over 65 and those with immunocompromised systems.  This puts a kibosh on Biden's plan to give all a third shot.  We will see if he goes against the experts.

The US has finished dead last in the latest Commonwealth Fund's report of performance.  It measures access to care (not a clinician function), care process (usually a hospital function ), administrative efficiency (another non-clinical function). equity ( do not know what this is) and healthcare outcomes ( a shared responsibility between clinitions and hospitals).  Looks like Ocare is really working to bring in the masses to the most expensive insurance on the market.  We have more red tape in our healthcare than other countries thanks insurance companies and hospitals and let's not forget the feds in this).  We have the lowest rank in infant mortality (much of this is due to the narcotic epidemic).

The Ohio Medical Board has renewed the license of Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, an Osteopath who spouts that people are being forced to choose between being tortured by nasal swabs looking for a virus that may not exist or having an injection os a deadly vaccine.  Other hysicians with the same information are also getting license renewals.  I know of one physician in Oregon that had his license revoked for not wearing a mask in his office while seeing patients. (see Legislation)   Some medical boards are a joke.        Top

St. Peter's Health has a tiger by its tail.  Their only oncologist was fired earlier in the year.  The community has filed suit against the hospital and has raised their own funds for billboards supporting Dr. Tom Weiner.  He had worked there for 24 years and has his own suit against the hospital.  The hospital has replaced Dr. Weiner with three different locums but to no avail.        Top
