A District Court judge has ordered UnitedHealth to reprocess 67,000 behavioral health claioms that it previously denied.  He said their guidelines denied care to patients who needed care.

A preventable disease, Measles, continues to increase.  Last year almost ten million people got the potentially deadly disease.  Over 200,000 died from measles last year.  Most cases were in Africa and most deaths are in children under 5 years of age.

The staff at Maine's Calais Regional Hospital are going on strike for two days to demand the firing of the CEO.  They had previously sent a notice to the Board and to the city council demanding his firing.  they accuse him of reckless spending and not doing right on providing PPE for the staff.  The Board backs the CEO.  Several days later the nurses got what they were really after, a new contract.  They now are all good with the CEO.  Hypocrites.        Top
