California has been chastised by the OCR. The feds state that the state law that requires anti-abortion centers to tell people about abortion is illegal and if the state continues there will be fines.
New York, the East Coast California, has enacted a state law that embodies the ruling in Roe with permitting late term abortions when a woman's life is endangered. It also allows non physicians to perform abortions.
The VA is proposing new rules to make it easier for vets to get care outside of the VA institutions. The new rules state if a vet has to wait for than 20 days or drive more than 30 minutes for an appointment in a VA then they could get their care at a private institution or provider and have the VA pay for it. The Dems do not want this. They are attacking it from the price point and the fear of privatization of the system. Really all that is happening is more choice.
